Cristi and Steve were married in late September on the sprawling grounds of their farm in Maine. I came out here for a site visit a month before, and Steve was still very busy getting the grounds prepped – sowing grass where the tent would be set up, mowing the lawn (which is like the size of about a million football fields!), building the ceremony platform, and the general process of making sure everything was ship shape and perfect. And everything was by the time the wedding day rolled around. Cristi got ready at their lake house nearby, and we drove to the farm in one of Steve’s two vintage Cadillacs. After portraits around the property – on the lawns, in front of the barn, between apple trees – the ceremony was under way with sweeping views of the grounds. It was truly a beautiful, classy, fun wedding and I am so glad I was able to be a part of it. A big thank you to Paula Cano of A Family Affair of Maine for ensuring everything ran smoothly and looked amazing, and of course a very special thanks to my second shooter Dan :)
