I had the privilege of spending a September weekend with the bride’s family at their beautiful summer home on Cape Cod. It’s not every day you get a private fireworks viewing! I tried something different this evening and brought a tripod to photograph the night sky. I was out there in the backyard, edge of a dune by myself for a good 20 minutes, patiently snapping a handful 30-second exposures of the stars over the ocean. It was so much fun. Later during the speeches I found out during that the groom had wanted to be an astronomer :)

Sooooooo amazing! I love the low-light shots before it was completely dark too, but the fireworks and stars are amazing! Looks like a gorgeous day all around!
