I’ve just come off of a very intense 4 weeks and decided I needed to cap it with a workshop in floral arranging (I love flowers), even though it meant driving myself several hours (I hate driving) on very little post-wedding sleep (I love sleeping). This was yesterday. Our teacher was Amy Merrick of Brooklyn who does beautiful things with flowers and shares them on her blog, and the setting was her family’s Depression-era property in New Hampshire. The house was like a museum and it was sensory overload to be in there surrounded by so much texture, color. After arranging two bouquets using all these crazy beautiful locally sourced flowers, we had berry crumble for dessert and champagne.

The photos were taken with my camera phone.
