Kathryn, event stylist of Bash Studio, recently coordinated a private scotch tasting party for which I contributed some handlettering. I used a brush pen – a newfound and favorite lettering tool! It contributed well to the overall “modern-rustic” look of the evening. I also lettered a menu using old-fashioned Crayola chalk. I’ve only used chalk pens before because it’s less messy and provides cleaner lines, but I think I actually do prefer the real thing afterall.
