Radish is getting fattened up (via bottle aaaaaaah!) by our dear friend Marna, an angel to all cats in need, who at the time of this writing is very groggy due to the once-every-3-hour feedings. Milk warmed and tested on the wrists and burpings and everything. This is a real baby. Radish already has a new home waiting for her – friends of Bingley’s brother’s mother. Did you get that? Bingley is looking forward to meeting Cousin Radish, who I have a feeling is gonna grow up to be a majestic MAINE COON too. Her paws are already huge. That’s how I know.

I don’t know why I didn’t get around to blogging our session, but even though it’s been nearly a year since it happened I’m glad I waited. In between then and now Kelly became engaged, so now this post is a perfect segue to say that I will be photographing her wedding next year! It is always an amazing honor when another photographer asks you to shoot them. I’m very much looking forward to being a part of Kelly’s 2013 wedding on Cape Cod!

PS Looking at these photos is making me very hungry for New England summers which are THA BEST. Hurry up beach weather!

This is Anne and Jerry’s beautiful and intimate wedding held in the heart of Boston. The ceremony took place at the Back Bay Hotel, followed by the reception at Mistral restaurant. In between the ceremony and reception Anne, Jerry and I had a nice and leisurely if windy stroll through Boston and took many a photo, hence all the portraits shared here. Living just a few blocks from Copley Square I feel like I know every nook and cranny and yet I always manage to find new tucked-away spots, such as this stairway in Trinity Church, or a spot by the reflective John Hancock Tower, or under a flowering tree in the Public Garden. I just love shooting weddings in this city. Congratulations to Anne and Jerry!

Emilie and Chris were married on a beautiful spring day in Cambridge, Massachusetts. After hanging out with girls in their hotel room, we made our way to MIT Chapel where Chris was waiting inside, ready for their first look before the ceremony. It was really sweet: lots of tears, lots of hugging. And even though Emilie had already seen Chris, there were even more tears as she walked down the aisle with her parents. Chris cried. Her sisters cried. Chris’s mom cried too. Afterwards at the MIT Faculty Club, Emilie rested her head against her father’s shoulder during their dance and her face crumpled, which made her sisters cry some more. Meanwhile I’m at the edge of the dance floor with my telephoto lens, getting a really zoomed view of their crying, so I cried too. It was really a beautiful, happy day, and I wish Emilie and Chris many more to come!
