This is a day in the life of Jeff who lives in the South End. Jeff like to eat sticks and pumpkins best of all. He’s transitioning from puppy stage and into full-grown doghood. Hence, the awesome lion’s mane around the neck!

Raaaaaaaw!

This is Joe the Golden Retriever at 5 months old having his grand day out in the Boston Public Garden.  As he was quite the little gentleman, I was able to get quite a bit of sit-and-stay poses. Definitely the most ever from a puppy. With a little translation help from his dad, all I had to say was, Sit in this nice light Joe and smile!  In the second to last photo Joe is rough housing with Buckley who was talking a walk with this family in the Garden. I photographed him almost a year ago when he was about the same age as Joe is now. Joe of Golden Present plays with Joe of Golden Future. It was really cute to watch.

Remember Freddy, that wonderful little Norfolk Terrier tearing it up on the beach of Nahant? Well he’s back, and more adorable than ever. He’s found himself a mini-me, and her name is Sydney!

Here are Gracie and Dewey, a pair of Golden Retriever urbanites living high above the city of Boston. Go ahead and treat your eyes to these golden puffs of fuzzy goodness!

A couple of months ago we had our third and final session with Dasha, the Frenchie I first photographed last year (wow!) when she was about 3 months old. We had a beautiful March day for the shoot, and here are some of my personal favorites.

{ HRH Princess Dasha }

After the session I made a coffee table book from the owner’s favorite images across all three sessions. The owner chose a 10×10 hardcover book.  Up until now I’ve made 8×8′s and I must say, the extra inch all around makes a huge difference! I might have to just offer 10×10′s only from now on.

For the front cover I chose a black and white image from the second session, and for the back I chose another black and white from the first session.

The front cover is more white than black, and the back cover is more black than white – I think it made for a nice juxtaposition, and an echo of her face is also perfectly bisected down the middle.
