Beacon Hill Engagement Photos for Anny and Anthony

Thursday, September 9th, 2010 { Around Boston, Beacon Hill, Engagements }

Welcome friends! It is time to give your tired, puffy eyes a little vacation, and let them feast upon this gorgeous pair of A-RAAWR! that I found roaming around the alleyways of Beacon Hill. Anny is all pre-bridal loveliness in her whipped cream-covered cupcake dress, while her fiance Anthony is looking sleek and dapper in his sleek and dapper slacks. I must make a mention that in all these photos, Anthony is hiding a Ph.D. in his back pocket, and so coupled with his John Travolta chin dimple, he is unfortunately way out of my league. But fortunately he is not beyond Anny’s, so I was happy to take what I could get and photograph this very handsome couple on a warm summer’s afternoon in my favorite parts of Boston. Everyone wins! We started in Beacon Hill, where I managed to avoid my arch nemesis Acorn Street, and ended in the Public Garden.

Anny and Anthony are getting married next year and I’m looking forward to seeing them again then!

STAMP-WEDDINGS

Floyd All Grown Up

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 { Dogs }

Floyd’s first shoot took place late last summer at the Boston Public Garden when he was around 13 weeks old. He had his second shoot in the winter, tromping through the snow.  For his third and final installment of the “Puppy Progress Package” (heh heh), Floyd met us at his rented HOUSEBOAT docked in the Charlestown Navy Yard. I came away reaffirmed that Cavaliers are my favorite breed, and that a houseboat is just the thing to make my life complete.

Here is our little hero, all sun-kissed and grown-up in the ocean breeze! It’s a nautical Floyd!

Moraine Farm Wedding for Lindsay and Santiago

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 { Weddings }

Lindsay and Santiago’s picture-perfect wedding took place on a picture-perfect day at Moraine Farm in Beverly Massachusetts. The color scheme as you will see were green, orange (yay!) and white. There were plenty of pretty flowers girls and cute usher boys on hand, as well as personal touches such as a homemade wedding cakes and tarts, names of guests written onto a window pane glass, cut-outs in a vintage book to hold the rings, cowboys from Oklahoma, and a dad who serenaded to his girl one last time during the ceremony. It’s hard to photograph when you’ve got water in your eyes…

Here is the story of Lindsay and Santiago’s wedding day…
